In this update, many new additions like new pets are there and the game also introduces music. The player will have to craft a jukebox of their own and the pets introduced are pirate birds which are very adorable creatures.

Music
Music discs and jukeboxes can now be found in the game. You will have to craft the latter however, the former can be found present in chests. These discs will be generated when a creeper is shot down by a skeleton. Music of 12 different genres can be found in the game.
Pets
MCPE 1.2.2 has brought many changes, especially the lush green biomes with pets in it. Parrots are a new addition which are very brightly colored and fancy looking. They inhabit jungle biomes and can be tamed too. Taming them requires feeding them with food which includes seeds, majorly those of melons, beetroot, and pumpkins. When they are tamed, a red heart will appear over them.
The only benefit these parrots provide is that they warn the users about the incoming danger and mimic others. Other pirate birds will also be found in the game.
